Doug and his boys.

Back in 1996 June (I believe Fathers Day) sometime. I took this picture of Doug, Douglas and Michael in front of the house. Douglas was 14, Doug was 34 and Michael was 12. Well June 2007 Fathers Day weekend Mike and Douglas came over to visit Doug. I had remembered about the picture I took years before, so I had them get around the same place. It's really strange to see how much they have changed and how much they haven't changed (Like still being skinny) Now in the latest picture Douglas is 25 and has a son of his own ( little Gavin) Doug is 45 and is still the same (LOL) and Michael is 23 and lives in Florida and I'm really not to sure what he does and I'm not to sure he knows either. (LOL) Now it's been another year later since this picture and they all still look the same. I wished that I was still skinny too. Must be nice!

Two love Birds

This is Joshua's little woman. Why he has a cigarette in his mouth I do not know. I guess these two are in Love so they say. The other picture is Doug and Katie. Doug, Josh and Katie were at the Mississippi river hanging out. Doug and all the kids like to go to the river and hang out,go for a walk or just sit and watch the fire. It's ok if thats what your into.

My fish pond

Well this is what I and Doug have been working on. These pictures were last summer. Hopefully this summer it will be bigger and better.I really like walking out of my house and seeing this every time. I used to have a clear ball that had a light in it that would float around in the pond. My neighbor Joann asked me what it was for. I told her so if some drunk walked up to the house at night they would see the pond and not fall in. Well at the time I was telling her all of that I had a good buzz going on myself. So I went to reach around my house post to move something and low and behold I fell in. So I new then that that light wasn't going to help some drunk not fall in my pond. Oh ya Joann was still standing there and she thought that it was funny. Now I've been working on my flower bed in front of the house. Took all the bricks out and put posts out to make it higher. It's looking good, when i get it finished i will put that on here too.

Doug and the water tower

This is why I need to get life insurance on Doug. It was below freezing for a few days and the water tower was leeking water. So Doug had to climb to the top and check it out. I don't think that I would ever want to do his job. He had to break all the ice off the steps on the way up just to see if the electrodes were out. When he got up there he found out that it was the phone wire that had been broke. Now who in the world would ever know that it takes a telephone wire to keep a water tower working. Not me thats for sure. The telephone wire runs a signal to tell the pump to turn on or off.
