This is my new gristmill that my dad made for me. I'm so proud of it. I can go out in my front yard and sit and watch the water pump out on to the wheel and watch it turn. See the fish swim around and watch toads lay eggs all at the same time. I love my water ponds there so cool. I have strawberry plants planted around the side of the pond and blueberry bushes on the outside of the pond. The bad thing about both of them I have to pick all of the flowers off of them both this year and next year it's supposed to make them put out more berry's (I hope) I also have in the middle of my yard bell pepper plants and tomato plants and I don't even like tomatoes. My neighbor loves tomatoes so I mainly grow them for her. This year I'm going to try to can salsa and maybe tomato soup and what ever I can think of to do with tomatoes. If anyone has an suggestions on what else to make with the tomatoes please feel free to let me know. I also am growing squash and melons in milk container's I'm not to sure how they will turn out but I will find out if it works or not. Next year I would like to grow more in my back yard but i will have to keep the dogs pend up and get a tiller. But for now everybody that drives by my house will get to see my garden.
